Mr. Stephen Kyerematen, also known as Steve, serves as Chief Executive Officer of Activa Finances Ltd and Activa International Insurance until 2016 when he retired from active company services He also serves as the Chairman of UT Life Insurance Company Limited and Activa Finances Ltd. Mr. Steve Kyerematen is retiring with heavy responsibilities and duties as the Vice-Chairman of ACTIVA Ghana, Chairman of ACTIVA Liberia, Chairman of ACTIVA Sierra Leone and Managing Director of ACTIVA Finances Limited.

Solomon started his insurance career at Enterprise Insurance after obtaining his first degree from the University of Ghana, Legon. He then proceeded to the United Kingdom to study at the Chartered Insurance Institute Face-to-face Training Centre to qualify as a Chartered Insurer. He holds MBA from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom and a product of the Accra Academy.

Mr. Ian Alvan Tofield has been Africa Consultant for Zurich Insurance Company since 2010. Mr. Tofield consults for various large multinational insurance companies. Mr. Tofield has over 60 years practical experience in all aspects of insurance and reinsurance business, administrative, technical and marketing predominantly in and for the African continent. He began his insurance career in 1955 with Legal & General Assurance Society. In 1961, he was seconded to Gresham Life and Gresham Fire & Accident Assurance Societies in Accra, Ghana and in 1970 to Guinea Insurance Company, Nigeria serving first in Kaduna as Northern Area Manager and then as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in Lagos.

Hon. Roger Melingui was a former minister of finance in Cameroon, and has served on many boards as director which includes Activa-Ghana, Activa-Liberia, Activa-SierraLeone. He graduated with a BA in 1970.Then, he enrolled in the Faculty of Law and Economics at the University of Yaoundé, where he obtained a degree in Economics in 1974. After obtaining a degree, he pursued his higher studies at the Institute of Political Studies in Paris (Economics and Finance Department) and at ESSEC in Paris. Roger Melingui graduated from his two institutions in 1977. His professional career began at the SNI in 1977 as a trainee. In 1978, he became a Founder. Then in 1981, he was promoted to Director of Studies at the same company. In August 1981, he was appointed Deputy Director of ONCPB. On May 15, 1984, he became CEO of ONCPB. Converted into business in 1989, he will then be Deputy Minister for Economy and Finance in charge of the Budget (21 July 1994 Р8 December 2004).

Mrs. Linda Osei-Akoto, the former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of the NSIA Ghana Insurance Company, has resigned as a member of the Board of the Ghana Insurers Association (GIA) in accordance with Article 10(i) of the GIA Constitution. Mrs. Osei-Akoto was elected as a Board Member and also a member of the General Insurance Council of GIA on 21st May, 2014. She served diligently in both capacities with admirable commitment to industry matters. Until her resignation, Mrs. Osei-Akoto was the convener for the Accident Technical Committee and also on the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Education Conference of the West Africa Insurance Companies Association (WAICA).
